We, the Angry Ink Collective, are very happy to announce: Our second zine is coming out this Saturday! In the last two years, we have been writing, drawing, making collages, discussing topics – to now finally release Zine N°2! Inside is a mix of essays, informative texts, collages, poems… – and comics! 

We have collected various topics, light and heavy hearted. From stencil-making to menstruation to mental health, activism and evictions and more, we are all over the place; but still tied together.
Also, the comic about the fictional project house Alte Schule continues, as two new characters join the crew from Zine N°1. 

   

While our collective has grown, we also expanded the page size to A4. And the zine has beautiful handprinted covers, printed with a letterpress and linocuts. 

We hope this zine brings joy to those who read it, as well as gives strength to all those who organize themselves in structures that stand against capitalism, racism, patriarchy and all kinds of oppression! 

We’re going to upload our zines in digital format on this site soon. If you somehow want a printed copy, give feedback or want to collaborate on something with us, please write us an e-mail!

The Angry Ink Zine is a collection of comics, articles, poems, funny small distractions and more stuff. The creation of the Zine was what initiated the creation of the Angry Ink collective, and it will if all goes well be the first but not the only Zine for us to release.

In the Zine we are met with the characters Esther, Mo and Riz, 3 people whos fates are tied together by a common place – the self organized project house and wagon platz Alte Schule that is threatened with eviction. Alte Schule is a fictional project, but it might as well have been real as many self organized places in Berlin and everywhere right now face evictions and are struggling to stay alive. Angry Ink stand in solidarity with all the projects here and everywhere, fighting for self-organized_left_anarchist_queer_safe_non-commercial spaces to stay alive and thriving.

In the Angry ink Zine you can among other things read about the history of squatting in Berlin, and find out how to make vegan potato salad. We expect to release the zine material online at a later point. If you are interested in the Zine in paper format or pdf, you can send an email to angry ink.
