Bad Lausick/Treuen, 18th march 2020

An Early Easter Egg on Political Prisoners Day
We, as an early Easter egg, claim responsibility for the fires during the night of 18.03.2020 at two companies involved in the construction of the new Zwickau-Marienthal prison. [1]

Today is the anniversary of the International Day of Political Prisoners. This day was proclaimed to remember the many fighting comrades and comrades-in-arms who are in the dungeons of prisons worldwide. The date is based on the day on which the Paris Commune was proclaimed in 1871. For many people, the Paris Commune was and still is a reference point for revolutionary efforts for social justice and political freedom. The smashing of the Commune, the massacre of thousands of Communards and the deportation of hundreds of them to the penal colonies, where they died a slow death, was intended to show all revolutionaries in the world what a bourgeois government is prepared to do when it sees its power threatened.

Even today thousands of revolutionaries are sitting in the prisons of this world. The emancipatory struggle has been going on since the commune, and its children have come and are still coming under the wheels of repression. There has always been a struggle for the liberation and support of the prisoners. A fundamental critique of domination has been linked to a critique of the prison system and the morality of punishment. The demand for the liberation of the prisoners often turned into a demand to abolish prisons and to overcome the principle of punishment completely.

Thus, in the course of the 68 revolt, after many activists were imprisoned, a strong solidarity movement was formed. The prison question also led to a general criticism of the penal system. However, there were different approaches to the issue and the differentiation between political and social prisoners. The differences were also articulated in the demands of the imprisoned urban guerrillas and the support work from outside. Some focused on a special treatment of political prisoners and others preferred to make demands that were important for all inmates. There were some social prisoners who showed solidarity with the revolutionaries and went on hunger strike as well. All this took place in a very politicizing period, but one can also suppose that the political prisoners and their struggles reaffirmed the social prisoners in rebellion. The prisoners’ struggles, in collaboration with outside support groups, received widespread social attention and in some cases even resonance. The first penal code of 1977 would not have existed without this resistance.

Inevitably, our path will not lead us past the point where loved ones are sent to prison. As the confrontation in social warfare grows, the number of prisoners will also increase. On the one hand, because the willingness of the population to take risks will increase, on the other hand, because the organs of repression will intensify their work, both in quality and quantity. A revolutionary movement can thus not avoid dealing with the issue of prison.

We should see prison as a field of social struggle, where we can intervene politically. It can give us the opportunity to meet even more comrades-in-arms who (also) did not have the privilege of growing up in stable conditions and thus fell into the clutches of the state. Especially the lower sub-proletarian classes, the marginalized, the precarious, are affected by imprisonment. They include the low-income earners, the unemployed, migrants, the illegalized, young people and drug addicts, to name but a few. People who have drawn the worst card under capitalism, were not born rich and therefore have something to criticize about the current situation. Probably their whole life has been a struggle – let’s encourage them to continue fighting at our side. Against the system that made them first poor and then “criminal”.

At this moment, there are revolts in prisons in many countries around the world.
The massive restrictions there, due to the Corona Pandemic, have led to riots in Italy, France, Spain, Portugal and Brazil. In Brazil, 1350 prisoners escaped from three different prisons. In Italy, more than 50 people managed to get past the walls in Foggia. Some of them have so far been able to resist the state’s attempts to be tracked down. In the course of this crisis, the people were deprived of the last concessions of the state. So the possibility to be visited by relatives and friends, to be outside for a few hours during the day and to interact with other prisoners. Also the food supply collapses due to the massive restrictions and the medical care is desolate to non-existent. The repression that followed the riots has already claimed several lives. Eleven people died in the uprisings in Italy. The information situation is difficult, as it has always been a strategy of the state to make revolts invisible. News spread that some of them had suicided. Such news cannot be trusted, of course. The methodology of disguising a murder as suicide in prison has been a popular strategy of repressive authorities to liquidate resistant individuals under the radar of a public, not only since yesterday.

In Germany, too, prison conditions were restricted a few days ago; in many federal states, visiting opportunities were radically reduced, and services such as therapy were suspended. The situation will continue to deteriorate.
It is therefore all the more important not to forget the most isolated members of society. The basic need for human interaction must not be further restricted. In times of crisis, the precarious are always hit hardest. Especially in the current situation, they are the ones who have hardly any chance of receiving adequate health care and they are also the ones who will be hit hardest by the coming emergency laws.

Let us support the prisoners and use our possibilities outside the walls to give their struggles more visibility!

Against an unjust life and for freedom! Open your mind to the insurrection!

We salute the 3 from the park bench crew, who are currently in a mammoth trial. We are also happy to hear that Peter Krauth is back in freedom and will not be extradited to the FRG – Love to sunny Venezuela to the three from the committee.

Greetings into the prisons and into exile.

We think of you.

The ones who had to leave everything behind to escape the clutches of the state. We think of the fear you must have felt upon realising that something went wrong and their noses were on your heels. We think of the stomach aches and the racing pulse, when you had to leave your familiar surroundings and home behind you, with or without your bags packed, to involuntarily flee into an uncertain future. We think of the broken hearts that you and your loved ones, families and friends carry within you.

And also to you: those who have been caught. Those who can only look at the world from the view behind bars and the grey walled courtyard. Those whose lives consist of the clacking of keys by the disgusting screws and their bureaucratic coldness and where the contact with your loved ones is temporary and always under the eyes of the enemies of freedom.

You and your history are with us when we act.

When we look at the world and its visible and invisible constraints, it is difficult to not feel a sense of powerlessness. To shake the hopelessness of the existing conditions, let alone to change them, too often seems infinitely difficult. But whoever manages to evade their apparent superiority and takes a step towards attack will realise that man can only feel a feeling of freedom by destroying that which robs freedom.

And so last night we were free for a short moment when the lighter ignited the incendiary device and a Telekom vehicle in Wandsbek was left to burn. The reasons why we chose Deutsche Telekom as a target for the attack has already been explained very well by comrades in Berlin:

„New technologies and the digital access to our lives that comes with them enable new and more subtle techniques of governance. The thousands upon thousands of data produced daily should make it possible to calculate and control our actions. With Predictive Policing, the anticipatory bull, a tool has been created that sorts people according to stereotypes and thus creates the perpetrators of the future. Such technologies are embedded in the restructuring of cities into Smart Cities, which companies such as Deutsche Telekom are working on to implement with 5G infrastructure projects or smart traffic systems, lanterns, waste management and much more. Ongoing work. By no means is any of this actually supposed to enable a better life for all. Instead it creates the totalitarian idea of comprehensive control of the city and its population possible through practical solutions“.

We rush through the city with beads of sweat on our foreheads to try and escape the fate of those in clandestinity and prison.

There are too many cases of State violence that leave us stunned. Stories that make our blood boil in our veins and force us to act.

There is a young man who destroyed several E-Scooters in Hamburg 2 days ago by throwing them off bridges or stairs or setting them on fire. An E-Scooter is just an annoying, polluting thing that contributes to the smartification of this world. An object, nothing more. But a judge in Hamburg apparently saw things differently and put the destructive man in custody. With such a perverse ease, and just because he has the power to do so, he has another person imprisoned.

Another day in Berlin: The Berlin cops are called to an operation at Boxhagener Platz in Friedrichshain. They storm an apartment. A cop shoots. Maria is dead. A person has been killed! It’s an unbelievable tragedy. Something that must never happen. But the powers that be decide that Maria was confused, on drugs, or preferably both together and that justifies her death. Because the life or freedom of a cop always counts more when in doubt. These two stories are only a fraction of what State violence does every day. In order to secure their rule, others are naturally locked up and killed.

All the more attention should be paid to those stories that elude their violence and fight back. Whether on 25.01. in Connewitz, Leipzig or from time to time at the so-callled dorfplatz in Friedrichshain, Berlin. The stories in the Hambi also speak a language of freedom. Just like the weekly splintering and fiery nights in the German speaking countries. And as well the worldwide current revolts like in Chile, Iran or the days in France that flare up again and again give reason for hope.

We send revolting greetings to the FAZ and a lot of strength to the anarcho-feminist project L34 in Berlin.

Love and hope to those in prison and clandestinity.

Freedom for the three from the park bench.

During the night of 21-22 January, a Vinci van was set on fire in the 20th arrondissement of Paris (rue Gambon).

Vinci builds prisons (and other shit, the open-air prison, made of misery, exploitation and control).

It is thought that it is urgent to revive a conflicting practice against the prison system, the prisons, those who build them, those who make them exist.

As a beautiful communiqué from Madrid puts it, “how can we not act, in an era of theoretical and practical disarmament of revolutionary forces?”.

Solidarity with those who resist, within these walls. Solidarity with those who struggle outside.

A thought for the three anarchists on trial in Hamburg and for the companion Lisa, in prison for robbery.

Many who were driving home for Christmas (or on their relentless commute for the 9-5) will have been dazzled by the 2 huge LED adverts that light up the motorway (and the night sky beyond) in Bristol. Bored of the false dreams and fairy lights, we damaged the billboards by attacking the main mechanisms in the back of the glittery display. We also smashed a computer console that is part of the spectacle.

Lots of people decorated with tinsel and trees… but we redecorated another billboard, this time by BT (British Telecom). Their new campaign reads “Open for Business: Not Attack”. We said: “Open to attack on all shit businesses! Anarchy!”.

While the country distracts itself with thoughts of a ‘Happy New Year’, and zombies wander the streets addicted to their smart phones… we prefer a more direct way to communicate. The Christmas period just means more isolation and time locked in cells for most prisoners.. Even when people are unlocked, they have to pay way more than the normal rate to make phone calls. BT make a huge profit from their prison contract and have the monopoly on all phones in UK prisons.

This action is a small nod to all those inside during this time of year… especially Kevan Thakrar and the Park Bench 3.

Fire to the prisons!

Pig cars and communications tower torched in Leipzig

According to their own statements, the pigs have prepared a trap on New Year’s Eve this year, to catch the Autonomen (autonomous ones) when they set fire to state property again. We don’t know what this is supposed to look like, but we didn’t take the risk of finding out, so we brought New Year’s Eve forward a few days earlier.

In Leutzsch (western suburb of Leipzig), during the evening of the 29th of December, we placed some flammable material on the communications tower of the cops and under some Ordnungsamt (public order police) vehicles. Apparently most of it was ignited.

On January 29th, 2020, there will be a hearing at the Federal Administrative Court about the banning of linksunten.indymedia.org. This attack was primarily aimed at the repressive organs that have banned linksunten, IE the cops and their bosses in the ministry of the interior: if you take away our media; we’ll destroy your property.

Elsewhere it has been stated that the outcome of the trial is of little significance, because “the repression cannot tame our desire for our own independent reporting”. We would rather put it a little differently: This trial is an opportunity to revisit the ban on linksunten from different angles. Because after the movement corner, which we mainly used at linksunten, not very much has been added for a long time, so we, other antagonistic parts of the movement as well as the publishing left, can now once again problematize this ban/censorship.

It is common knowledge that most people have lost their faith in the state, even if they ever had it to begin with. We are also like most people, but we will follow the trial with interest and welcome the fact that people are taking on the work of challenging the legality of the ban. Because our freedom is not primarily fought or defended with riots, but also via legal means and above all via multiple solidarity actions, which are not always visible at first glance.

On Saturday the 25th of January, 2020 at 5PM there will be a demonstration at Simsonplatz in Leipzig on the subject of the linksunten trial. Come here if you like or do something locally.

Another highlight on the annual calendar is the EU-China Summit with a focus of the economy, taking place in Leipzig from 13th-15th of September 2020, which will be a major gathering of the current enemies of freedom to discuss how capitalism can function even better internationally, how existing trade barriers can be overcome and how the exploitation of people can be further intensified. These scum, along with their appendages and, of course, the inevitable apparatus of cops and informers will descend upon the city. We would like to invite you, dear comrades, to come to Leipzig to comment on this shitty summit, which we detest, in a way that you will enjoy.

Last but not least, we send greetings to the Park Bench 3, whose trial will now begin at 1PM on the 8th of January at the Hamburg Regional Cout, Room 237. Lots of strength to them during this stressful time.

Down with the State – For Anarchy!

Berlin, December 2, 2019

War Begins Here – Attack Arms Corporations
During the night from Sunday to Monday we penetrated the grounds of Thyssen Krupp in Berlin Tempelhof and torched three trucks.

Thyssen Krupp is mainly active in steel production. With its subsidiary “Thyssen Krupp Marine Systems”, the company is also involved on a large scale in the war industry. With the construction of warships, the company earns several billion euros annually. Their ships and submarines are exported all over the world, one of their biggest customers being the Turkish army.

Germany and Turkey have been business partners in the arms trade for many years. Exports to Turkey are are higher than they been for more than a decade, 1/3 of all German arms deliveries are already going to Turkey. So the arms export halt, which the Federal Government imposed in October, does not help much at all. All previously approved exports may still go ahead and so the army is further supplied with weapons until the end of the year.

We welcome the increase in anti-militarist actions since the Turkish state waged war against Rojava with German weapons. It can also be observed, however, that with the decline in media coverage of the war in Rojava, that the frequency of action here is also declining.

On the one hand, would also like to add that Germany has also been waging war in other regions for years and that the German arms industry supports regimes all over the world. The alleged halt of German arms exports is just another smoke screen for us, which will not light the way for us. In the Yemen War, for example, all parties to the conflict continue to be supplied with weapons despite the suffering of the population, which has persisted for years. Saudi Arabia, against whom an alleged freeze is already in place, also receives weapons from German industry. Arms bans are ignored or circumvented by building “only” individual parts on site and then sending them to European partners in order to complete the complex weapons systems there.

On the other hand, the Turkish state and other nation states decide when the next escalation, when the next war, when the next ethnic cleansing is on their murderous agenda, when it seems opportune to stage elections and when media coverage should focus on the war in Syria and Rojava. However, a radical anti-militarist perspective should not depend on these decisions. Otherwise we will remain trapped in reaction and degrade ourselves to the defenders of the existing conditions. Militarism, capitalism, patriarchy and racism are conditions that must be attacked at all times.

We must take disarmament into our own hands, and what we destroy here can do no harm elsewhere. Arms manufacturers and suppliers must not lull themselves into safety here. There are many ways of attacking them. We welcome a variety of methods. Be it direct sabotage, the blockades of arms companies that have taken place in recent months, or counter-information and public relations work, as the “Disarm Rheinmetall” campaign has been doing for some time now.

We send solidarity greetings to the Park Bench 3, whose trial will most likely begin this year, and to Loic, who has already been in custody for over a year in Hamburg.

Fire and flames to the prisons and weapons manufacturers.

Do-it-yourself disarmament

On December 1st, we lit a fire on the lower left side of the Federal Administrative Court in Leipzig. With this action we want to announce what we think about the upcoming trial on the 29th of January, 2020 against Linksunten Indymedia: Nothing!

In August 2017, shortly after the G20 in Hamburg, the laughable constructions of an association led to the shutdown of the website. We don’t care if there will be a democratic victory of press freedom after the days of negotiations or not. The repression will not tame our desire for our own independent reporting, no matter what form it may take.

Until patriarchy, capitalism, the protection of the constitution and the like are abolished, we still need media in order to exchange uncensored information and to relate with each other as critically and with as much solidarity as possible.

With their infamous disgusting thoroughness, the repressive apparatus also shut down the Kurdish Mesopotamia publishing house and the largest Kurdish music archive in Neuss in March, 2018. Solidarity with the Kurdish liberation struggle and the revolution in Rojava – Death to fascism!

We wish the defendants of the Linksunten Indymedia trial and the accused G20 fighters a lot of strength.

Freedom for Loic and the Park Bench 3.

Prison Profiteers Attacked – Excavators Torched – Solidarity with the Park Bench 3

During the night of October 11th, we set fire to two Eurovia Vinci excavators.
Vinci, as a global company, has shown many times in the past and in the present that it apologizes for NOTHING and that it is ready to accept any order, no matter how dirty.

This can be seen in many examples, especially in the construction project of an airport near Nantes (France), where the now evicted ZAD was located. Here Vinci, in cooperation with the French government, want to clear 200 hectares of forest to build the third largest airport in France. However, this project was prevented by militant and civil society protests.
Vinci is also involved in the construction of prisons making them a part of a system of domination and oppression.

This domination was opposed by some determined people at the G7 summit in Biarritz. Despite the military isolation of the city, they succeeded in penetrating the city of Bayonne north of Biarritz and letting their rage run free. This action in resulted in a total of 68 arrests, 38 of whom were remanded in custody.

Vinci’s machinations are against our idea of a just and liberated society, which is why the company and its infrastructure were and will remain our targets. Look around – there are many Vinci construction sites.

Fire and flames against repression!
Solidarity with the G7 prisoners and the Autobahn 3!
Solidarity with the Park Bench 3!
Freedom for Loic!

Freedom for all prisoners!

Received and translated on 22.08.19:

21.08.19: On Monday night, we set fire to several construction vehicles on the grounds of the Zwickau Marienthal Prison construction site. An excavator was burned out completely, the other four excavators and a front end loader were damaged by our fire and made partially unusable. We would like to dedicate this action especially to Loic, the Park Bench 3 and the Basel 18. They are missing from our side.

In Zwickau-Marienthal, construction work on a joint new prison complex for the states of Saxony and Thuringia began recently. At the beginning of 2020, a 6 meter high wall will surround the 10ha area. The concrete complex, which is to be completed by 2024, will then hold 820 people within its walls. In its workshops more than two-thirds of the prisoners will be forced to work.
One of the contractors and profiteers of this major project in Zwickau is the company Hentschke Bau GmbH from Bautzen. The Reichsbürger (name for followers of a reactionary movement in Germany that believes in the ‘German Empire’) and owner Jörg Drews, donated 19500 euros to the AfD (far-right political party Alternative for Deutschland) in 2017, making him one of the party’s single largest donors during this election campaign. Also, Drews attends Identitarian Movement events and demonstrations, organizes far-right events on behalf of his company, is a member of “We are Deutschland” from Bautzen and supports the far-right magazine “Denkste Mit?”. It is not especially surprising that fascists like Drews support the construction of prisons and can still line their pockets with money.
The beginning of construction of the Zwickau-Marienthal Prison is only a few months behind the opening of the new Saxon Deportation Prison in Dresden and the extension of Leipzig Prison. Despite its planned size, the enemies of freedom are still crying out for more prisons and so an additional building is already being discussed in Thuringia. Furthermore, more prisons are being erected everywhere, such as the planned deportation prison in Glücksstadt in Schleswig Holstein, the Rottweil prison in Baden Württemberg, the Billwerder youth prison in Hamburg, the Klagenfurth prison in Austria and the Bässlergut II deportation prison in Basel.

Prison is one of the institutions that very clearly shows us the absurdity of our society. The value of property is placed above all, even above that of a human being. The Statistics Office of the European Union lists crimes as “acts which harm or are intended to harm a person, acts of sexual violence and acts of violence against property” in one and the same classification. A huge number of prisoners are sentenced for property offences. Approximately 30 to 40 percent of prisoners serve alternative terms of imprisonment for being unable to pay fines imposed upon them. Even people who have fallen into poverty in old age are not protected from having to go to prison at the age of 70 for fare evasion. Sadly, we see this again and again in the newspapers. The society that we live in causes poverty and divides us between above and below. Attempting to escape from poverty ends for many with exclusion from society. It is a tool of the powerful to keep us in check. While some earn millions by exploiting people and the environment or speculating on food and housing, others are called criminals for expropriating what capitalist society denies them.

In order to maintain this world of oppression and exploitation, the State needs the opportunity to rid itself of those who rebel against its injustices. Repression is directed against those who escape from the system, who seek alternative ways of living and survival, who escape control and oppression, or who rebel against it. When surveillance and control are no longer effective, the end result is deprivation of liberty, isolation from society, along with physical and psychological violence.
Our society supports, demands and encourages this perversion. We live in a world in which the profits of the few determines our lives and autonomy is constantly criminalized. In such a world, nobody is free.

The responsibility for the mass imprisonment of people lies with the assertion that this will reintegrate them into society. They claim that they are trying to reintegrate them into society. The true function of the prison system, however, is ultimately to break the individuals who have lost their way and rob them of their autonomy. Their willpower, which opposes capitalist normality, is to be destroyed. In doing so, the prison resorts to various repressive and “non” repressive measures. In open detention, with day leaves, parole and a more humane facility and freedom of movement, one is permanently under the threat of being imprisoned if one does not behave in a conforming manner. In closed detention, benefits are granted which are withdrawn in the event of bad behavior. For particularly rebellious individuals, there is isolation – 23 hours alone in a cell and a 1 hour courtyard walk. In addition, a contact ban can be imposed, so you have to do your walk alone. This total isolation is aimed to physically and psychologically destroy the individual. If one does not submit fully, indefinite detention for safety reasons can be imposed, like what happened to our comrade Thomas Meyer-Falk.

To speak of socialization in the context of captivity is pure farce, considering the isolation in which the prisoners find themselves. The violence of the State against human beings is more direct than in any other form of domination. In total heteronomy, decisions about obedience or rebellion must be made in a matter of seconds. Rebelling is punished immediately. The deprivation of liberty is no more and no less than an absolute necessity for the preservation of power.

For us, when we fight against prisons, it means always fighting against the cruel reality that imprisons us every day, even in the outside world. It means to fight for an autonomous and domination-free life, to tackle every authority and oppression and to attack all structures, institutions and mechanisms that maintain them. These include not only institutional and social structures and constructs, such as States and corporations, religions and the logic of exploitation or racism and existing gender relations, but also interpersonal approaches based on greed, envy and competition.

We see this attack as a contribution to the upcoming International Week of Solidarity with Anarchist Prisoners. Our hearts are always with those who have to sit behind the walls of our enemies and with those who have to flee their environment because they are doing everything to get their greedy hands onto them.

Burning hearts cannot be imprisoned!

Freedom for all prisoners!
