Covid is this decade’s 9/11. Not in terms of death because it has surpassed 9/11 in terms of deaths but in a break with the old. We live in a different reality, a deadlier reality. A reality that means more of us will be disabled, unable to work, unable to take care of our children, unable to live the ways we want to live. The saddest part is, the fascists won. The amount of people still taking basic precautions against Covid is nearly zero even among radicals. The fascists complained more, radicalized further, and now we are living in their world.
