Police Car Light

Parts

  • Toy police car
  • Flame (3D-printed or from an battery powered tea light)

Building it

Preparing the car

The first step was to open the car and remove the benches inside to make room. Then I drilled a hole in the roof the size of the LED. In the back window I cut a slit so that the switch fits through.

Wiring everything up

This is probably the easiest circuit there is, I just soldered it as shown in the picture.

Installing

I put the LED through the hole and glued the flame to it. The flame I used is 3D printed but I used the one from a battery powered tea light in an earlier version, that worked too. Next I glued the switch in the back. Then just put everything in the car and close it again and done.
